Why I am not hearing back from dirtlifestylenate?

Fortunately our channel has exploded in popularity and this is a huge blessing for us that we are extremely grateful for! Unfortunately, I am getting hundreds and some times thousands of comments/questions a day. I am keeping up with your questions as often as I can, but the vast majority of questions will be unanswered, with the exception of Patreon. 

 

What is the drivetrain in your TJ?

Dana 44 high pinion front and Homebuilt Ford 9" inspired rear. 1.9L TDI out of a 2006 VW Jetta. mated to the OEM 5 speed NV3550 transmission. It is then connected to an Atlas 4 speed transfer case. 

 

What axles should I use in my 4x4?

Due of the large amount of questions I get from subscribers to help with their builds I have made some videos to help in that department. Those videos will be linked below. I no longer can keep up with helping you guys on an individual basis, so I hope these videos can help with your decision!

What TDI engine code is best?

In my opinion, the pump duce engine codes are the best for swaps. BRM, BEW, BHW, etc. These have better injection systems, stronger bottom ends, and make power easier than the previous versions. There are lots of other great TDI's out there but these are my personal favorites. 

 

Can I join your YouTube Channel as a video contributor? 

As many of you know I came from another YouTube channel that had multiple content creators called BleepinJeep. This wasn't a very good experience for me and I quickly realized that I could build my own brand that reflected my own taste. I HIGHLY recommend you do the same! Anybody can start a YouTube channel! Build something that reflects you, you don't need me to get started and if you are willing to work hard you can make your channel just as successful as anybody else!

Dirtbag Salsa Recipe

I posted a picture of some salsa I made on Instagram and many of you wanted the recipe. It is listed below, hope you enjoy!

INGREDIENTS

  • 8-12 medium sized tomatoes
  • 1 large red onion
  • 1 large white onion
  • 10-12 small sweet bell peppers
  • 2-4 jalapenos (depending on your spice level)
  • 2 bushels of cilantro
  • 5 cloves of fresh garlic
  • 2 limes
  • (add 1 small habanero for extra spice if necessary)
  • 1/2 cup to 3/4 cup vinegar
  • teaspoon of cumin
  • teaspoon of oregano
  • salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. Start by pureeing the spicy ingredients in a food processor. (jalapenos, garlic, habanero)
  2. Dice up all remaining ingredients and add to mixing bowl
  3. Add in fresh squeezed lime juice, vinegar, cumin, oregano, salt & pepper.
  4. Stir & let sit for 24 hours.
  5. Enjoy this bomb ass salsa!
